Our main recording space, “the big room” is roughly 30 by 40 feet with 11 foot ceilings. The openness of the room lends itself to full band or larger mixed ensemble tracking, with the larger end being live and the smaller end somewhat deader. 4 Large floor to ceiling movable windowed gobos are available when needed for more isolation. There are two spaces that function as amp closets and a machine room that houses the computers and the EMT 140 plate.

The control room, originally built as an iso, is right off the main recording room, and can be used as an iso for vocals when tracking.

The full bathroom, also off the main studio, doubles as a fantastic echo chamber when tracking drums in the main room, or for re-amping guitars and vocals.

Or you can take a shower. Your choice.

The second recording space on the ground floor is currently home to Producer/Mixer/Engineer Sean O’Brien. It is comprised of two rooms, which house Sean’s awesome collection of instruments and amplifiers. The two studios are connected with tie lines, allowing tracking simultaneously in both spaces.

Upstairs you’ll find our living room with a full kitchen, a coffee shrine, a dining area and a shady outdoor deck with views of the San Gabriel Mountains. A private bedroom and bathroom for an out of town artist or producer is also available.
